COVID – 19 | Implementation of measures during a state of emergency

24.03.2020• byEurovia Blog

COVID-19 has impacts to all communities around the world, our prayers and support are with all who work to overcome this historic challenge, and especially those whose lives have been directly affected.

While many business sectors are closing in and sending their staff to work from home, the construction industry continues to operate, but with new rules.

In times of epidemic concern that we face, our priority continues to be the safety and well-being of our employees and the communities that we serve. That is why we want to inform you that we, as a socially responsible company, are here to take all necessary measures to protect against this pandemic. Today is the right time for every company to demonstrate its social responsibility!

In coordination with protective measures taken by the Government of RNM in which Eurovia works affected by the COVID-19 virus, we are taking intensive measures for safety and health at work.

By obeying the “two-meter rule” and in some cases, isolating workers on different sides of buildings, introducing a cleaning and maintenance regime at the places we work in, is twice as much as we already had. We have taken strict measures to ensure that our employees are not threatened at work, informed and provided.

As a company, we have taken the following measures:

  • Employees must keep a distance of two meters from each other
  • Reduce meetings or allow them to be held outdoors
  • Increase hand washing facilities
  • All common areas should be cleaned at the end of each working day
  • Anyone who develops symptoms of COVID-19, such as sore throat, fever, sneezing or coughing, should be isolated at home for 14 days.

Stopping and spreading COVID-19 is a responsibility we all strive for. Eurovia is doing everything to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and keep workers safe in the first place. Therefore, we take all necessary steps to ensure the well-being of every worker, their families and our associates.

During this crisis, Eurovia will always be looking for additional ways to help you as much as possible.

Take care of your health and the health of others. We will succeed together!
